Thanks to Kevin, I have a nice earworm buzzing in my head. Weezer’s video for their latest single, Pork and Beans, taken from their “Red Album” …. uhm …. album debuted on YouTube today and it features many of your favourite viral videos including the Coke and Menthos experiment and Chris “Leave Britney Alone!!!!” Crocker (although I think Seth Green’s parody is a lot funnier!)
Anyway, here’s some Pork and Beans:
Oh, and not forgetting Marie Digby who premiered her latest video for Say It Again a couple of days ago. Ahhh …. Marie ….. so pweety! But she really has to find some new way to move to her music. She’s doing that nodding her head thing and bobbing up and down throughout the song it’s making me dizzy. Her beauty’s making me dizzy! Heh!
Now I can add “finding new music” to the list of reasons why I’m on Twitter.
Tom Felton, the actor who played Potter-bully, Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter movies, is releasing a few songs. This actor/musician sings a medley of his songs in this video.
I don’t know about the singing, though. As Simon Cowell would put it, “What the bloody hell was that??”.
Looks like Mr Felton needs a lot of wizardry (and more singing practice) before he becomes a successful singer.
I personally prefer the Dark Knight to Ironman, although I’ve heard lots of great reviews about the movie Ironman. In this video, Batman and Ironman compare notes in a parody of the PC/Mac advertisements.
Sometimes you just have to give in to your instincts. Be a man and step up to the plate. Grab the bull by the horns and deal with the problem as best you can. In the face of adversity, maintain that stiff upper lip and show the world who’s boss.
Or you can just faint when a snake slithers across and between your legs. No need to fake it. Even a macho man has his weak points.
Didn’t expect the fella to just drop, stone cold unconscious like that! Funny shite!
Directed by Mr Madonna (Hard Candy’s out!! I want one!!), Guy Ritchie, this ad is shot from the viewer’s perspective. Makes you a little dizzy, but it’s brilliant!
These videos are oldies but goodies. My favourite phrases?
“Wah ai kio ji buah cheebye.” (I’d like to order a plate of vaginas) and “Li neh ji xiang han zi? Ai sio kan mai?” (Your nipple looks like a potato? Would you like to have sex?)
I get this feeling most mornings when I have to drag my weary body out of bed to go to work. Who wouldn’t want to trade a couple of extra hours in bed instead of going to work when you have a nice, warm blanket to snuggle up to?
This ad was created for an insulation company Pink Batts in New Zealand.
Someone called their beloved and highly regarded Archdiocese of Cebu, Cardinal Vidal names so the inmates protest by the only ‘legal’ way they have - by dancing to Laura Branigan’s “Gloria”.
To celebrate the launch of their new album, Accelerate, R.E.M “went to places where people live their lives too fast and showed them how to decelerate.”
I still think the original Improv Everywhere video is better.
Just easing my way past the drag of a boring Friday and into what I hope will be a good weekend. Last week sucked of the “0-3, got beaten by Man freakin’ U” kind of sucked. It’s Everton this weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed.
But in any case, enjoy the video and have a good one, people!
Taken from one of my favourite science shows on TV, Brainiacs, this video features what happens to someone’s face when you slap it. Video in super slow motion reveals all the distortion in the guy’s face at the point of impact. Very nice!
