Another celebrity gawking site, but this time with a twist. Coolspotters allows you to discover what brands and products your favourite celebrities use, share the info with other people and connect with other fans like yourself. Whether it’s a picture, a video or audio clip or just about anything, if you ’spot’ a celebrity with a particular product, associate the two and share it online.
A Spot is an association between two Profiles, and they are all created by YOU. See a photo of Jessica Simpson wearing her William Rast Stella Sure Fit Jeans? Spot it! Read an interview where David Beckham talks about his new Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet? Spot it!
When browsing Profiles on Coolspotters, you can always create a new Spot. Just click on “Add New Spot” and we’ll take you through a quick and easy process that will help you create a new association for other users to discover. Whether you’re spotting a celebrity with a product they use, or a car in a movie, or a celebrity with another celebrity, you’re going to love how easy it is to create a new Spot!
I think this site is great for people obsessed with their favourite celebrities and would want to know what products they use. Good for advertisers and potential sponsors looking for a celebrity to endorse their products too.
Want to know what kind of candy Madonna munches on? You can probably find it on Coolspotters. And it works both ways too. Search for a product and the site will give you a list of celebrities associated with it. For example, according to the site, the Apple iPhone was spotted being used by 30 celebrities, like Orlando Bloom and David Duchovny, and was spotted on TV programs like Mythbusters and American Idol.
Pretty neat site! I love it!

Why oh why do we feel the need to compare ourselves with celebs? These people don’t even buy these stuff, it’s given to them for free. It’s just another marketing tool to make the common person feel like a loser…unless she’s wearing the same clothes as Kate Moss or he’s driving the same car as Jay Leno.
You can’t win.
Yeah, but there are lots of people out there, especially impressionable young ones who want whatever their favourite celebs have (even if it means buying knock-offs).
