They call it "the mother of all telephotos". The Canon 1200/5.6L USM super-telephoto lens is a rare beast with "more than twelve, less than twenty" of them sold. Why? It costs US$99,000, that’s why!
If you wanna clearly photograph something from a couple of miles away this would be the ideal lens for you. If you can afford it.
