It’s been one of those weekends. A shopping trip to VivoCity that turned out to include lots of ‘interesting’ mini-crises - cranky toddler, poopy toddler, nursing room that was under renovation when you most need it, having to change nappies standing up in the restroom, messy chocolate smoothie smeared shirts …. the list just goes on.
In the end we did manage to shop for some clothes at Mothercare, had a pit-stop at Ben & Jerry’s and got some biscuits from Marks & Spencer - all completed in just 3 hours (from the time we left home to the time we got back).
Talk about a whirlwind shopping trip!
The crankiness continued at home - boys fighting over toys and Maya refusing to sleep for what seemed like hours. When the dust finally settled at 10.30pm and there was some peace and quiet in the house, I was too tired to even stay awake to watch the Liverpool game. And when I fall asleep during the match, you know it’s been ‘one of those weekends’.
