Daddy is sorry you got (wrongly) punished for yesterday’s ‘cone incident’. It was a case of you being in the wrong place at the wrong time. In life, this often happens. You get blamed for something you didn’t do. Learn it well, my son. Reviewing the evidence, Daddy realised that it was actually Ayeed who was the culprit.
Today’s incident with the packet of instant noodles on the window ledge and the culprit’s hand outside the window prior to him trying to flee the scene of the crime, confirms it. You were probably just trying to take the cones away from Ayeed to prevent him from stuffing it through the open lower pane of the window.
For your bravery in the face of false accusations, you are hereby pardoned and shall be rewarded with a tricycle when Daddy gets his bonus later this month.
As for you, Ayeed …. one more stunt like that, and it’s off to military school for you!
