Ain’t No Country Called ‘Middle East’, Ma’am!

Either the people who did the design of the napkin used at Fish & Co are too lazy or they failed their geography in school.

Ain't No Country Called 'Middle East'!

Our lunch at Fish & Co. was good, except for the minah waitress who insisted on speaking with a super-fake American accent (she pronounced ‘chowder’ as “chow-duhrrrrr”). We had a hard time understanding what the soup of the day actually was. In the end I left it to Trin to tell her our order while I fiddled with my phone and tried to ignore the excess R’s rolling off her twisted tongue.

Wakenatag, Beb!

This is the ‘I dunno what’ tag. I’m supposed to copy and paste and remove some question or something. OK here’s Bubbledad and Bubblebaby’s (Momo) first joint-tag:

1) You like rainy or sunny day? Why?
Bubbledad: Neither! I prefer cloudy, windy and cold. Miserable weather that I often got while I was in NZ!
Bubblebaby: No preference as long as I can see cars on the road.

2) At what age do you wish to marry? Marry or marry AGAIN? :P
Bubbledad: 40, 42, 43. Fill my quota before 45. Or maybe not.
Bubblebaby: Dowan to marry. Girls are icky!

3) What colour do you like the most?
Bubbledad: Blue, although the Reds are MY team!
Bubblebaby: Red and white, because that’s the colour of buses!

4) If you have the chance, what would you probably say to your beloved ones?
Bubbledad: Too many to mention. Probably “What’s for dinner?”.
Bubblebaby: Too many to mention. Probably “I want milk!”.

5) Where is the place that you want to go the most?
Bubbledad: My bedroom
Bubblebaby: My playroom

6) Which part of you that you hate the most?
Bubbledad: Almost everything.
Bubblebaby: My tummy. It’s too round. I wish I had a six-pack.

7) When you encounter a sad moment, what would you do?
Bubbledad: Look away
Bubblebaby: Cry and throw a tantrum.

8 ) What is it that you are afraid to lose the most?
Bubbledad: Any of the kids in a crowded place.
Bubblebaby: Mummy and Daddy

9) If you meet someone that you love, would you confess to him/her? Or would you keep it to yourself and observe from afar?
Bubbledad: Confess, of course!
Bubblebaby: What is love?

10) List out 3 good points of the person who tagged you.
Bubbledad: Funny, smart, tells it like it is
Bubblebaby: Funny, smart, tells it like it is

11) What are the requirements that you wish for your other half?
Bubbledad: Too many to mention. Used to be “Must be able to make me a good cup of coffee”, but I’ve mastered that myself.
Bubblebaby: I don’t have an ‘other half’, unless you consider Abang Booboo as my other half, then I would want him to get off my back while I’m playing and leave me alone!!

12) Till now what is the moment you regret the most?
Bubbledad: Wasting time with my ex. Should have dumped her sooner.
Bubblebaby: I regret not having more for breakfast this morning. Now I’m very hungry!

13) Which type of person you hate the most?
Bubbledad: Pisangs and Kontols
Bubblebaby: I don’t know the meaning of ‘hate’. Yet.

14) What is your ambition?
Bubbledad: None. Contented to be where I am now. Used to want to be a grasscutter, astronaut, F1 driver, Superman, Batman and Spiderman.
Bubblebaby: Bus driver, truck driver, taxi driver, train driver, Mummy and Daddy up the wall driver.

15) What is the thing that will make you think he/she is bad?
Bubbledad: Depends on who and in what situation.
Bubblebaby: I don’t know the meaning of ‘hate’. Yet.

16) Christmas is coming. Who do you like to celebrate with?
Bubbledad: I don’t celebrate Christmas, but since it’s a public holiday, I would like some me-time to sleep, please!
Bubblebaby: Anyone who can give me a yummy biscuit.

17) What do you think is the most important thing in your life?
Bubbledad: No one thing, but if I can borrow Suzy Ormond’s phrase - “People, Money, Things”
Bubblebaby: My thumb

18) Do you go to pub after married?
Bubbledad: What pub?? I went to sleep after I got married because I was so damned tired!!
Bubblebaby: Don’t know what’s a pub. Don’t know what’s ‘married’ either!

19) What’s your fav things?
Bubbledad: Too many to mention. But if I had to list just one, it’ll probably be ….. my cigarettes!
Bubblebaby: My thumb!

20) My Question: Rice or noodles?
Bubbledad: Noodles of course!!
Bubblebaby: I don’t care as long as it’s soft and squishy and yummy!

I tag next …. no one!
