It’s another day at the hospital for both Trin and Maya. The princess can’t be discharged today as she’s slightly jaundiced so it’ll be 24 hours of phototherapy and observation for her. Hopefully she’ll be discharged tomorrow.
Trin’s getting bored staying at the hospital. Haha! Wait till she sees the mess that’s waiting for her at home. I’ve been too tired to help get the house tidied-up. Maybe tomorrow.
Ajab and I went to the hospital while Ayeed came later with the in-laws. All three kids have been sleeping in separate places - Maya at the hospital, Ayeed at his grandparents and Ajab with me at home.
If hospitals are so boring for adults, it’s even more so for restless toddlers like Ajab.
We had to find some way of entertaining them, like stuffing Ayeed in Maya’s cot, which he quite enjoyed.
We’ll see what the doctor says about Maya tomorrow. Hopefully the bilirubin levels would have gone down sufficiently for her to be discharged tomorrow.
